Zankhana Patel-Batra, M.D.
Zankhana Patel-Batra, M.D. is a board eligible OB/GYN. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology/Psychology from Rutgers University. She then received her MD from St. George’s University and completed her OB/GYN residency at Newark Beth Israel Medial Center in Newark, NJ.
Dr. Patel comes to New Beginnings with a passion for women’s health. Her compassion and enthusiasm has led to a growing patient base, and she welcomes new patients.
Dr. Patel lives in Springfield with her husband and son.
Victoria DeSantos, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Victoria DeSantos, M.D., F.A.C.O.G. is a board certified OB/GYN. She received her undergraduate degree in Microbiology/Chemistry from Ohio University. She graduated from The Medical College of Wisconsin with an MD, and completed her OB/GYN residency at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ.
Aside from her private practice at New Beginnings, Dr. DeSantos sits on the Residency Review Committee at St. Barnabas, where she helps to train current resident physicians. This year, she received the National Faculty Award from the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists for promoting high standards of residency education.
Dr. DeSantos lives in West Orange with her husband and two children.

Erica Kottler, APN
Erica Kottler, APN, earned her BSN at Rutgers University and her MSN in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Monmouth University. Trained in the care of patients across the lifespan, Erica dedicated a specialty concentration in Women’s Health as a part of her clinical education. Before joining New Beginnings, she worked as an RN on a Medical/Surgical unit. She brings a comprehensive approach to our practice and is proficient in providing obstetrical care, IUD placement, contraceptive and preconception counseling.
